Create a game using the mission designer

GPS Mission, the location-based gaming platform where players create missions for others - is awarding the best mission of the month. Create a mission on www.gpsmission.com and win an exciting prize, e.g. a Nokia N82 mobile phone.

In the first three months after starting the beta phase of GPS Mission our users have published missions in 39 countries. To date the community has created a wide spectrum of different missions such as scavenger hunts, city-guides and crime stories. Now it's time to award the best mission of each month in a worldwide competition.

Design a fascinating location-based experience

All you need to participate is a good idea and an interesting location that you know well. You don't need any programming skills to create a great location-based game at www.gpsmission.com.

A really good GPS Mission tells a story. It has pictures and asks questions that can best be answered at the given location. A mission shouldn't last longer than 45 - 60 minutes and should bring people to interesting places. Try to surprise your players, show them unusual perspectives, and uncover hidden stories. Remember not too make your mission too long, people will have to walk the distance.

Win an N82!

Every month we will give away a neat Nokia N82 GPS-phone for the best mission (as decided by the jury). The winner will also get a nice and exclusive digital Trophy for his or her trophy board on gpsmission.com - but fame & glory await for all mission designers!

No entry forms needed - just be creative

Create interesting and innovative missions on www.gpsmission.com. All missions in English and German language qualify and participate in the competition without anything else to do. Please understand that missions in other languages will not participate, because the judges simply won't understand them. But of course all missions in all languages are always welcome on gpsmission.com.

If you have any questions about the competition - post them to the mission design forum.
